Our AI Policy
Last updated: 18.08.2026
We believe the future is built by humans and accelerated by technology. When it comes to AI, this policy is the standard we work to. We are rapidly innovating, upgrading our homes, website, product data and marketing materials. If labels are missing or misattributed, please let us know at ai@biobuilds.com. We will fix it as soon as it is flagged. With that said, this is where we stand:
Our mission is to make the best possible homes, at scale. That means low margins and a lean team focused on building the best homes. Marketing and sales stay deliberately small, and that is where we use AI most: developing ideas, preparing drafts and editing parts of images.
What we believe
AI can be a remarkable amplifier of human ability, and it can amplify human weakness just as easily. It can give a small team access to skills that once took years to build, turn an idea into something visible in minutes, and release people from work that consumes time without asking much of their judgement. The same speed can flood the world with false information, blur the line between human and artificial, and leave future models learning from an ever-growing volume of synthetic data. Both futures are present in the technology we already have.
Building a home is among the most human things we do. It is where children grow up, people rest and bond, and much of our lives are experienced. That leads us to a simple principle: technology should free up our time, not consume it. We use AI where it saves human time and effort, allowing us to devote more of both to what matters: the homes we build and the people who live in them. If AI lets a lean team spend less time removing mud from a photograph and more time improving the home in that photograph, we think it is worth using. If it helps us make better homes available to more people without letting speed decide what is worth making, we think that is progress. The boundaries will move as the technology changes, but the purpose should stay fixed: give people more time for the work that truly matters.
Human review
People at BIOBUILDS take part in creating, reviewing and approving the work the company controls. AI may help with an early draft or image edit; the team decides what goes live.
What we edit in project photos
Project photography begins with a real BIOBUILDS home that we manufactured and delivered. We may change the setting around it: delivery mud, an unfinished lawn, a neighbouring yard or the sky. When AI goes beyond cropping, exposure, colour correction or other aesthetic edits and generates or replaces part of the image, we label it “Edited with AI” where it appears.
Generated images are mainly internal starting points. Examples at the end of this page compare camera originals with AI-assisted edits, show an AI concept prepared for a custom school offer and include camera photos without AI additions.
Collaborators
Creators, agents and partners work independently and choose their own tools. We select collaborations carefully and review what we can, but cannot take direct responsibility for work outside our control. This policy covers material controlled by BIOBUILDS.
The law
Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires certain AI-generated or AI-edited content to be labelled. We comply with the standard to the best of our ability.
For questions about a specific image or video, write to privacy@biobuilds.com and include the page where you saw it.

Sometimes the final result of a project is so visually harmonious that we do not process it.
