Our AI Policy

We believe the future is built by humans and accelerated by technology. We are not perfect. Our website, product data and marketing material change constantly, and sometimes we miss something. This policy is the standard we work to.

Our mission is to make great, future-proof homes incredibly affordable. That means low margins and a great team focused on building great homes. Marketing and sales stay deliberately small, and that is where we use AI most: developing ideas, preparing drafts and editing parts of images. This policy explains where we use it, where we draw the line and what you can expect from us.

Human review

People at BIOBUILDS take part in creating, reviewing and approving the work the company controls. AI may help with an early draft or image edit; the team decides what goes live.

What we edit in project photos

Project photography begins with a real BIOBUILDS home that we manufactured and delivered. We may change the setting around it: delivery mud, an unfinished lawn, a neighbouring yard or the sky. We rarely alter the building itself. When we do, it is to explore a direction or show how a specific project could look.

Concepts for unbuilt homes

Generated images are mainly internal starting points. We may use them publicly when they make no claim to show a real home. For new products or upcoming projects, AI video can provide an early preview when a conventional render would take too long. In those cases, the purpose is to communicate a concept before the project exists.

Collaborators

Creators, agents and partners work independently and choose their own tools. We select collaborations carefully and review what we can, but cannot take direct responsibility for work outside our control. This policy covers material controlled by BIOBUILDS.

The law

Article 50 of the EU AI Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, has applied since 2 August 2026. It requires clear disclosure of AI-generated or AI-manipulated image, audio or video content that could pass as authentic. This page is the BIOBUILDS standing disclosure under that article.

This AI concept was the starting point for a custom offer for a 380 m² Passivhaus school in Romania. The school is now under construction.
